SanLeandro2050 is a local nonprofit established to promote bold action on climate change in San Leandro. We have been funded by the State of California to conduct outreach in the neighborhoods of San Leandro most impacted by air pollution. We are seeking motivated College students to represent SL2050 at neighborhood events and meetings. You will help us develop and participate in community outreach programs for San Leandro residents, including outreach and event planning, with additional work which may include projects in social media outreach, plans for a community garden,, videography or other projects. Spanish or Cantanese speakers are a plus!
Beginning in May 2022 through August 2022, internships are available and will pay a stipend of $17 per hour for college interns. Work will be both during the week and some weekends, with some flexibility to fit your schedule.
